Credit Controller
Here at Adaptable Recruitment, we are working with a client based in Runcorn, as they search for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

£30,000 - £34,000 DOE
Hybrid working pattern available
25 Days Holiday + BH

As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for;

  • Chasing any overdue debts and managing overdue accounts
  • Initiating credit assessment via on-line credit agency for new customers and regular monitoring of existing customer accounts
  • Setting up and maintaining sales ledger accounts
  • Escalating of issues to ensure no bad debt
  • Pursuing legal proceedings as and when required
  • Ensure the production of sales invoices is completed
  • Complete credit insurance claim forms
  • Allocating all monies received to customer accounts
  • Taking credit card payments and banking cheques
  • Carrying out month end procedures including producing and sending monthly statements
  • Raise and send out invoices daily
  • Issue credit and debit notes
  • Dealing with customer complaints

Experience required;

  • Experience working in a busy Credit Control environment
  • Previous experience on the following - Sage ERP and MS Office

Who Will I Report Into?

  • This role will report into the Credit Control Manger
