Adaptable Recruitment are working on behalf of our client to source an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary assignment within their accounts team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the purchase ledger process and ensuring smooth supplier payment operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately process supplier invoices, credit notes, and staff expenses
• Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate any discrepancies
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries promptly
• Support the month-end process and provide ad-hoc assistance to the finance department

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable role is essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external liaison
• Confidence in using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
