People Partner
Permanent | Liverpool | Hybrid Working | Up to £38,000
Are you a passionate HR professional who thrives on building trusted relationships and making a real difference in the workplace? Do you enjoy balancing day-to-day employee relations with the opportunity to influence strategic people projects?
I'm partnering with a forward-thinking, values-led organisation in Liverpool to recruit a People Partner on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic HR team in a hybrid working environment, where you'll play a key role in shaping the people agenda and supporting organisational growth.
What You'll Be Doing
As a People Partner, you'll provide expert HR support across a range of functions, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees alike. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clear, practical guidance on HR matters including employment law, terms and conditions, performance management, pay, recruitment, and HR policy.
- Managing a variety of complex employee relations cases - from investigations and disciplinaries to grievances and performance issues - ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
- Supporting attendance management processes, including coordinating Occupational Health referrals and attending sickness review meetings.
- Leading end-to-end recruitment campaigns - from drafting job adverts and coordinating interviews to issuing contracts and onboarding new starters.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in a core HR function (e.g., policies, compliance, wellbeing, or systems), becoming the go-to person for colleagues across the organisation.
- Driving forward HR projects and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture.
- Ensuring all employee records are accurately maintained and fully compliant with data protection regulations (GDPR).
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and confident HR professional with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach. You will have:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor, People Partner, or similar generalist HR role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations issues from start to finish.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a genuine passion for people and organisational improvement.
What's on Offer
- A permanent opportunity within a progressive, inclusive, and people-centred organisation.
- Hybrid working model offering flexibility and better work-life balance.
- Competitive salary of up to £38,000, depending on experience.
- Involvement in strategic HR initiatives with real impact.
- Supportive leadership and a collaborative HR team.
