Salary: £32,000 - Depending on experience.
Location: Liverpool - Office based - hybrid option.
Holidays: 28 days holiday plus bank.
Benefits: Performance/Profit Related Bonus.
Main Responsibilities to include:
This role requires a proactive, self-starting attitude and will, in time, involve travel to client sites, industry events, and exhibitions to support business development and deepen customer relationships
- Handle inbound enquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Proactively manage high-value or complex sales
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and large-value customer leads
- Provide detailed product guidance and quote custom solutions for trade clients
- Help shape the sales pipeline and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain relationships with repeat clients and support long-term retention
- Train and support junior sales team members where required
- Work closely with marketing and purchasing teams to ensure alignment on promotions and stock
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, or customer site visits as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced B2B or technical product sales professional
- Strong understanding of margin, discounting, and conversion strategy
- Able to explain and upsell product features with clarity
- Confident handling large-value orders and trade account queries
- Proactive and commercially focused, with a drive to spot and convert opportunities
- Willingness to travel for business development purposes
- Professional and organised with great written and verbal communication skills
