Salary: Up to £28,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm (fully office-based)
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for an Account Manager to join their friendly and fast-paced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing client relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in managing customer accounts end-to-end, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, while maintaining high standards of service and long-term client relationships.

Main Responsibilities to Include:

  • Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients
  • Building and developing strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and handling billing queries
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
  • Liaising with internal teams including operations and transport
  • Resolving queries and complaints effectively
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and account information
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in account management or B2B customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage workload independently and work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience using Oracle is desirable but not essential
