We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for a Customer Service Account Manager to join their supportive and fast-paced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys building strong customer relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will work closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, playing a key role in maintaining high service standards and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
  • Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a key point of contact
  • Processing orders, arranging deliveries and handling billing queries
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Liaising with operations and transport teams to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, logs and account information
  • Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience

About You:

  • Experience within account management or B2B customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team environment
  • An understanding of Oracle would be ideal but isn't essential
